Amy Fore has been named chief operating officer (COO) for Mercy Clinic Fort Smith.
Fore joined Mercy as an administrative fellow in Springfield, Mo., in 2008, and most recently worked as vice president of operations for Mercy Clinic Four Rivers. Prior to joining Mercy, Fore worked as a pharmacy buyer and business analyst with the St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock.
Fore received her bachelor’s degree in health sciences with minor in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She also holds a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Cole Goodman, president of Mercy Clinic Fort Smith, said Fore comes to Mercy Fort Smith with valuable knowledge and experiences both in and outside of the organization, and he is elated to welcome her to the area.
“My team, including our Fort Smith co-workers and physicians, are all looking forward to working alongside Amy,” Goodman said. “The health care industry is constantly evolving, and we believe Amy’s knowledge and experience will help guide this community as we face these changes and opportunities head on.”
Fore is active in the American Medical Group Association, Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has presented on the topic of integrated delivery systems to regional and national audiences, and co-authored a book titled, “Integrated Delivery Systems: A Cure for the Healthcare Delivery Crisis.”
